Archiving and long-term open access storage policy

The management of scientific data of the publication will be based on the FAIR principles ( Findable , Accessible , Interoperable , Reusable ), which guarantees their effective use. In order to ensure reliability, backup copying of scientific publications is provided.

 1. General principles

The journal provides long-term storage and unhindered access to all published materials in open access mode. Archiving is part of the sustainability policy of the publication and guarantees the preservation of scientific results for future generations of researchers.

 2. Repositories and storage systems

All electronic versions of the magazine are stored on the official website of the publication with free access.

For long-term storage, copies of issues are transferred to:

-    National Repository of Academic Texts of Ukraine (e- Repository NLU / URIS);

-    Institutional Repository of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute";

-    international archival systems such as OpenAIRE or LOCKSS/CLOCKSS.

Each article is provided with a unique DOI identifier, ensuring permanent referencing.

 

3. Technical means and storage formats

Archive log files are stored in multiple formats (PDF/A for long-term preservation, XML/JATS for metadata, HTML for web access).

The server infrastructure has a regular backup system ( on-site and off-site ).

server mirroring and data integrity checking ( checksum control) technologies are used .

 

4. Availability guarantees

The journal adheres to an Open Access policy : all articles are available for free without restrictions on time or number of downloads.

In the event of the journal's cessation of operations, all archival materials remain publicly available through institutional and international repositories.

The journal guarantees that metadata and full texts of articles will be indexed in leading bibliographic databases and open access aggregators (Directory of Open Access Journals , Google Scholar , OpenAIRE).

 

5. Compliance with international standards

The journal archiving policy is in line with the PKP Preservation principles. Network (PKP PN), DOAJ Best Open Access Scholarly Practices and Recommendations Publishers Association (OASPA).
