КОРУПЦІЯ ЯК ФУНДАМЕНТАЛЬНА ЗАГРОЗА МИРУ ТА БЕЗПЕЦІ
Анотація
У статті проаналізовано таке глобальне й міждисциплінарне поняття, як – корупція. Явище, що впливає на всі сфери життя суспільства – від знецінення освіти, моральних принципів, сповільнення економічного розвитку, підриву демократичних процесів до загрози людській, національній та міжнародній безпеці, миру та стабільності. Корупція – наче паливо для конфліктів і соціальних заворушень, яке послаблює спроможність держави захищати своїх громадян та реагувати на загрози, знижує здатність держави розряджати конфлікти та підтримувати мир. Досліджено існування зв’язку між корупцією (вимірюється Індексом сприйняття корупції (CPI)) та наявністю загроз безпеці держави (бомбардування, напади та смерті, пов’язані з боями, повстанські рухи, заколоти, перевороти, тероризм), як це відображено в Індексі крихких держав (FSI) Фонду миру (FFP). Зазначено про важливість конкретних антикорупційних реформ, які допомагають розірвати низхідну спіраль корупції, конфліктів і насильства, задля сприяння миру та безпеці через прозорість та боротьбу з корупцією.
