MAIN PROBLEMS OF REALIZING THE PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

Abstract


The article considers certain prerequisites and conditions for the creation of full-fledged regional petrochemical clusters based on petrochemical companies. It is substantiated that existing chemical and oil-gas-chemical clusters in Russia are industrial agglomerations. It was stressed that the best conditions for increasing the competitiveness of manufactured products are created in industrial and regional clusters. It is summed up that the geographical proximity of companies causes lower production costs through the use of a common scientific and technological infrastructure, increased competition between firms, the possibility of forming temporary alliances to enhance mutual competitiveness of companies, differentiated and high-quality demand for goods, etc.
