MECHANISM FOR FORMATION AND USE INNOVATIVE POTENTIAL OF THE REGION

Abstract


The article proves that an objective basis for the region's competitiveness, regardless of the subject and the object of competition, is to increase the attractiveness of certain elements of the region's economic complex in the target markets. The definition of regional concepts has been clarified, the essence of economic competition and its functions at the regional level have been analyzed, approaches to the definition of the term "regional competitiveness" have been systematized and the processes of interregional competition from the point of view of participants in economic competition, objects of competition and factors allowing to win in This competition, as well as generalized results obtained in the form of a logical and structural scheme.
