A STUDYING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A SMALL vertical takeoff and landing AIRCRAFT

A.S. Kulik, S.N. Firsov, Van Thinh Nguyen

This paper presents a new class of small vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, also the control algorithms were proposed, which provide a given quality of performance of the studied flying vehicle in nominal condition as well as in presence of abnormal situations. Although it presents a series of models, which reflect the peculiarities of the small vertical takeoff and landing aircraft in the nominal condition and during abnormal situations, that are related to the faults on the aerodynamic control surfaces.

Keywords: small-sized aircraft, the coordinate system, transformation matrix, microcontroller, accelerometer, angular velocity sensor.
