OF IDENTIFICATION OF THE BASIC DOMINANT OF THE ACTIVITY OF AVIATION OPERATOR IN THE CONDITIONS
OF RISK

Taking into account
influence of pilots and air traffic controllers as "operators of the
cutting edge" to the safety of functioning of difficult polyergatic control system «crew-aircraft- environment- air
traffic control", it is suggested to evaluate their professional activity
taking into account a basic psychological dominant that determines attitude
toward a risk, namely: propensity, absence to propensity and indifference to
the risk. The
feasibility concept is considered basing on positions of flight safety and
covers the decision making processes of the aviation operator in the conditions
of risk. The theoretical
model of criterion function, which defines the practicability-safety of
aviation operator, has been developed and substantiated. The possibility of
the identification of the principal dominant of pilot’s and air traffic
controller’s activity, which is continuous chain of the decisions, has been
proved and grounded on the multitude of terms and consequences of the activity.
Key words: aviation
operators; human factor; flights safety; decision making; basic dominant of
activity; propensity, absence to
propensity and indifference to the risk.
