air moisture condensation in air-coolers of internal combustion engines

Special
aspects of the internal combustion engines air-cooler calculation with focus on
the air moisture condensation are presented. The useful method for the
prediction of air moisture condensation during the process of air cooling has
been suggested. The results of coupled simulations of cooling system and heat
exchangers, which compose the cooling system, for various types of engines and
for the set of charge air pressure level are shown. The different influence of
air moisture condensation on the cooling air parameters depending on the charge
pressure level is revealed in the article.
