SYNTHESIS
OF PARAMETRIC IMAGE AND CONSTRUCTIVE SCHEME OF tHE TURBOFAN ENGINE FOR Training

The paper is devoted to development of the concept of the engine for
training – light combat airplane parametric image synthesis. Problem’s
difficulty consists in necessity to combine low mass and cost with high
life-time and efficiency. To solve this problem a maximal usage of the
engine-prototype units is proposed. Different variants of the basic gas
generator modifications to increase its power and different variants of the fan
and low pressure turbine are considered. The main used quality criteria are total
mass of the powerplant and fuel, and also total cost
of the engine (taking into account repair cost) and fuel consumed during total
life-time. To determine a fuel consumption ten typical flight profiles are
taken into account. As a result choice of the engine modification with
additional HPC stage and one-stage turbine cascades is justified.
