Statistics accounting of
aircraft equipment failures in the cockpit crew simulator training program (by
the example of Antonov-24)
O.N. Dmitriev, V.A. Shulgin
In consideration of flight simulator
primary importance in the process of flight crew training of aircraft equipment
fault isolation practicing it is pointed out that such training must be focused
on the flight failures which have the largest influence on the safety of the flight.
But on the other hand it must go by the failure recurrence regardless of their
significance. In the result the most important factor is the aircraft equipment
ageing, as the domestic aircraft life time is extended for a long period of
time. The list of failures, practiced during simulator training and
correspondent to the formulated criteria, is identified.
