Modelling
of two-phase stream fluxion at thermal spray coating
S.V. Sergeyev, K.A. Danko
Process of acceleration of a powdered material in the
supersonic nozzle of a gas-flame gun for thermal spray coating and in space
between a shearing of a nozzle and the workpiece is
observed. The analysis purpose is dependence determination between a size of a
particles phase of a two-phase stream and distribution of a thickness of a put
coating in a cross-section. The basic attention is given a question of
definition of the minimum size of particles which are capable to generate a
coating on a processed surface. Necessary conditions of formation of the joint
between a particle and substrate been defined. The FEM analysis of gas kinetics
of two-phase stream and is probability -statistical methods of the analysis of
the data is in-process applied. The minimum size of particles at which there is
a coating formation is observed.
Key words: thermal spray coating, a two-phase stream, the supersonic nozzle, a
kinetic energy, finite elements method, the aviation gas-turbine engine.
