RESEARCH THE THERMAL CONDITION OF THE FLAME TUBES WALLS FOR LIQUID-FUEL  COMBUSTION CHAMBER BY THE INSTRUMENTALITY OF CFD AND MATHEMATICAL MODELING

S.I. Serbin, S.V. Vilkul

The article is devoted to the questions of the thermal condition of the flame tubes walls for liquid-fuel combustion chambers of gas turbine engines by the instrumentality of the modern tools of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and known semiempirical dependences. The opportunity of application of numerical experiment is shown for definition of the flow's structure and stream's temperature field at liquid fuel combustion in combustion chambers of gas turbine engines. The data obtained during modelling allowed to determine thermal condition of the flame tube in the most heat-stressed cross-sections by semiempirical dependences taking into account the convective and radiant heat exchange between a torch and the flame tube.

Key words: gas turbine engine, combustion chamber, computer flow modelling, heat exchange, temperature of the wall.
