DETERMINATION OF PHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF CNC MACHINES

At high-speed machining
accuracy of determination of motion parameters like position, speed and
acceleration, influence errors of motion along contour. Investigations are
carried out with aim of determination of accuracy required level for speed and
acceleration data. It was revealed that position measurements with discreteness
of 0.001 mm do not permit to obtain proper values of speed and
acceleration. In order to determine speed it is necessary to provide position
measurements with decimal digit position of 1·10–5 …3·10–6 mm, and for acceleration – 1·10–5 …1·10–6 mm, that is not possible to realize only
at the expense of sensors discreteness increase. Development of algorithms for
sensors signals recording device and algorithms of data processing for
determination of speed and acceleration values with a required accuracy is
proposed.
