For the
purpose of critical temperature definition of molds action, made of a composite
cellular material, some features of structural transformations of the titanium
and chemical activity of the sample were considered at thermal loading under
the following program: heating from room temperature to temperature 950 °С with
a speed of 30 °C/min.; endurance at temperature 950 °С; cooling to temperature
350 °С with speed of 30 °C/min. Chemical activity of the sample was checked by
a method of the synchronous thermal analysis. A research objective – to
establish the maximum working temperature for molds made of composite cellular
materials based on the titanium sponge. As a result of research it is
established that the optimum working temperature for molds made of composite
material based on the titanium makes a 500 °С.
