Design of the installation for production of
melt materials and method for determination of its thermal conductivity

The installation design for production of melt of materials in conditions
of one sided heating is submitted. It is intended for determination of a
temperature fields in melt and substrate. On the basis of these fields the
thermal conductivity of melt is determined. The method for determination of
melt materials thermal conductivity is based on a fourth sort boundary
condition between a substrate and melt, decisions of coefficient and boundary inverse
heat conduction problems. The results of experimental determination of a temperature
field in a graphite substrate and temperature of a surface of tin melt, and also results of determination of contact
temperature of a melt-substrate are submitted. The results of determination of thermal
conductivity of tin melt are given. The satisfactory consent with the literary
data is received.
