TEETH GEOMETRY OPTIMIZATION OF THE WAVE TOOTH GEAR LEXspline

The article deals with changing of flexspline tooth geometry of unloaded wave tooth gear and its displacements are considered. Due to incomplete filling of  backlashes uneven teeth contact and non-uniform force distribution are appeared in gear pair. Wave tooth gear with the account of  the tooth  length warps under deformation of a flexspline is considered. Recommendations to reduce the wave tooth gear weight and size taking into account of profiling of flexspline teeth are offered.
