PROGNOSTICATION OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL RESIDUAL DEFORMATIONS OF compressor blades AFTER through-edge of blade ball rolling STRENGTHENING

The method is designed for the technological residual deformations prognostication of gas turbine components after surface plastic deformation strengthening. This method is based on finite element analysis and applied for the residual deformations prognostication of the compressor blade after through-edge of blade ball rolling strengthening. The finite element model makes it possible to simulate the effect of strengthening  due to shot-peening of blade and ball rolling of edges of blade. The method may be used for optimization of the ball rolling strengthening treatment technology.
