The problem of assessing
the sustainability of the family of unmanned aerial vehicles that are created
on the basis of the basic model and have different weight,
size and aerodynamic characteristics
associated with the peculiarities of
their application is examined. The method for assessing robust stability, based on research of Hurwitz interval
characteristic equation of closed system
is given. This method allows to
obtain the stability areas for
the combination of changes of
output characteristics of interval data for parameters of the mathematical model, that
enables to evaluate the robust properties of unmanned aerial
vehicle design at the design
phase.
Key words: aircraft, robust stability,
interval parameters, the characteristic equation, the stability areas.
