INCREASE OF PRECISION OF THIN-WALLED PIPELINE-PARTS
FOR AIR SYSTEMS OF AIRCRAFTS MADE BY HYDRODYNAMIC STAMPING
A.P. Melnychuk
The question of
increase of precision for thin-walled parts of pipelines was analyzed in the
article. The typical defects of pipeline elements made by hydropercussion
stamping methods were considered. The majority of defects is
caused by breach of manufacturing operations routine or presence of defects in workpieces. The most hard-to-be-corrected are the defects
which are caused by a springback effect. The required
precision of parts guaranteeing method by change of workpiece
impact velocity was analyzed. A springback effect is
a property of material which determines the deviations of dimensions when the
part is off-loaded. When an optimum impact velocity is reached, the springback is minimized due to plastic deformation of the workpiece during the impact to a die.
Key words: hydrodynamic stamping, thin-walled pipeline, workpiece, die, impact velocity, deformation, springback effect.
