INFLUENCE OF ELECTROHYDROIMPACT FORMING ON D16T ALLOY MICROSTRUCTURE

overview of the benefits of electrohydroimpact
forming comparing with traditional methods and description of cold forming
influence on microstructure of an aluminium alloy were considered. Brief
description of experimental study of impact forming influence on the D16T alloy
microstructure was described. Comprehensive analysis of the D16T alloy
microstructure and identification of structural changes after impact
deformation were carried out. Quantitative characteristics of a grain and sheet
metal deformation were determined. Directions for further researches were defined.
