Definition OF POWER LOSS
IN THE HYBRID BEARING with Oil-Mist Lubrication

In work analytical
dependence with application of similarity criterion for definition of power
loss in hybrid bearing with oil-mist lubrication is offered. Feature of the
completed research that the air-oil mist was considered as the homogeneous
medium with averaged parameters. Having carried out the comparative analysis of
experimental data for bearings with balls from nitride of silicon and from
bearing steel, it is shown that the techniques received for all-metal bearings,
can be applied practically without changes and to hybrid bearings in an investigated
range of parameters. On this basis the general analytical dependence was
deduced.
