optimization in interferometric SAR for accuracy IMPROVEMENT of height of the
relief ESTIMATION

The
problem of accuracy improvement of height of the relief estimation in interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is
investigated. An optimal signal processing in primary radar information
processing stage is proposed to solve the problem. The maximum likelihood
approach is used for an optimal algorithm synthesis. As a model of the interferometric SAR, the vertical interferometer is
considered. For the selected interferometer model, an optimal algorithm for
height of the relief estimation is obtained.
