Extrapolation of turbocharger radial turbine engine characteristics

The method for extrapolation of turbocharger radial turbine
characteristics is presented. Extrapolated characteristics are of the utmost
significance for correct thermodynamic simulation of internal combustion engine
cycle. The method is based on calculation of turbine characteristics according
to gas-turbine theory. Suggested method is suitable for turbine characteristics
extrapolation with satisfactory accuracy in spite of significant lack of input
data.
