RESULTS of TESTS of SYSTEM of SUPERCHARGE of cascade
exchange of pressure WITH DEEP COOLING OF AIR

The working process
organization of a cascade pressure exchange with deep cooling charge air has
been described. Tests results of a supercharge system prototype at the motorless stand has been resulted. Increasing law of
cooling effect charge air at rising of a loading mode of the combined engine
has been revealed. Supercharge system’s ability to provide high level of
boosting has been shown. Thus charge air is cooled below ambient temperature
without bringing in of additional mechanical energy on realization of
refrigeration cycle.
