SPEED AND
ACCELERATION DATA PROCESSING IN THE CNC SYSTEM FEEDBACK LOOP

One of the most important parameters determining accuracy is a precise
determination of motion parameters: position, velocity, acceleration. Noise in
the data position significantly affects the accuracy of speed and acceleration.
The methods of smoothing that provide the best noise reduction with limited
computational abilities of the CNC system are considered. Methods
of exponential smoothing, simple and weighted moving average increase level
noise from 8.5 to 12.74 times. Method of weighted moving average showed
the best smoothing results.
