ESTIMATION OF IMPACT FOULINGS OF CHARGE AIR COOLER’S HEAT-EXCHANGING SURFACE ON THEIR HEAT ENGINEERING EFFICIENCY

A.A. Gogorenko

The method of determination the impact of thermal resistance foulings layers of charge air cooler’s heat-exchanging surface on the heat-transfer coefficient is presented. In the experiment the physical features of foulings from the air are improved. The experimentally tested, that impact of fouling layer on the heat-exchanging surface from the air on efficiency charge air cooler is insignificant. More considerable impact of fouling from the water on the changing of charge air cooler’s with the developed heat-exchanging surface heat engineering efficiency is spesified and the analysis of this impact changing reasons is given.

Key words: fouling, heat-transfer coefficient, charge air cooler, heat-exchanging surface, thermal resistance.
