AND CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSORS FLOWS COMPUTATION RESEARCH METHODS AND RESULTS OF THEIR PRACTICAL USE

Verifying computation
methods of sub-, trance- and supersonic flow in the stages of axial and
centrifugal compressors and their elements are presented. A place of 2D flow
computation methods in the compressor design process is shown. Method of
computation of subsonic flow in the multi-stage axial compressor (MAC) taking
into account the turbulent exchange between flow steams, method of computation
of transonic axisymmetric flow in a MAC (MW1<1,3), method of the high-pressure axial compressor stage (MW1<1,6
) flow computation, and also method of computation
of do-, trans- and supersonic flow in the compressor cascades are presented.
Also subsonic flow in the centrifugal superchargers computation method and of
sub- and transonic (MW1<1,3) flow in the high-pressure centrifugal compressor stages
computation method are presented. Verifying is conducted of the presented methods by comparison of
computation results with the experimental data and its results are shown.
