THE WAYS OF IMPROVEMENT OF HEAT AND ECOLOGICAL
CHARACTERISTICS OF COGENERATION UNITS WITH GAS-TURBINE AND PISTON ENGINES

The
results of investigations of ways for nitric oxide and carbon monoxide emission
reduction, also improvement of heat characteristics of cogeneration units with
gas-turbine and piston engines with direction of exhaust from engine to boiler
and from boiler-utilizer to active boiler are
presented. The investigations were made on the basis of modern computer
programs. For module cogeneration units with boiler-utilizer
investigations were carried out on special experimental stand with afterburner
which was installed between engine and boiler-utilizer.
Analysis of obtained results shows high efficiency of proposed ways for
improvement of ecological and heat characteristics of cogeneration units.
